LEGAL ASSOCIATE- ABOGADO
Overview
Assist in the corporate matters of the company, including the meetings and resolutions of the corporate bodies. Be in charge of the compliance matters of company. Prepare and maintain updated the statistics and internal works of the legal department. Preliminary review the legality of the company’s legal documents and analyze the potential risks and legal consequences, as well as the mitigation strategies. Requisitos
DESCRIPTION & REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB
- Work experience of legal sector: 3-5 years, preferably with experience in law firms
- Profession: Corporate law and compliance management.
- Education Degree: Bachelor degree or above. Desirable: Post-graduate in corporate and/or environmental law.
- Bilingual: Spanish-English fluently.
- Assist in the corporate matters of the company, including the meetings and resolutions of the corporate bodies.
- Be in charge of the compliance matters of company.Prepare and maintain updated the statistics and internal works of the legal department.
- Preliminary review the legality of the company’s legal documents and analyze the potential risks and legal consequences, as well as the mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate with external lawyers to handle legal affairs and ensure the compliance of company operation.
- Exercise legal control over the performance of all kind of contracts, ensure implementation of all rights and fulfillment of all obligations.
- Monitor the work of external lawyers, evaluate their performance regularly.
- Assist and support the Director of legal department.
- Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts.
- Draft, review and negotiate material contracts regarding M&A and financing transactions.
- Communications with regulatory and governmental authorities.
- Give assistance in human resources matters.
